Public invited to learn more about Lincoln’s future development opportunities.
Lincoln, Neb. – 2015 Vision, a group of business and civic leaders supporting a number of exciting new development opportunities for Lincoln, will sponsor four “Community Conversations” to share information about the projects and discuss what these projects mean to the city’s future. The four meetings are open to all citizens and will be held at various locations the last week of January and first week of February.
2015 Vision has partnered with Leadership Lincoln and several community leaders in developing the Community Conversations. Each session will include an overview of the 2015 Vision pillar projects presented by Kent Seacrest, followed by small group discussions and then a one-hour question and answer session with a panel of community leaders. The doors to each session will open at 5 p.m., with the presentation beginning at 5:30 p.m. and session ending by 8:30 p.m.
The four Community Conversation dates and locations are as follows:
- Monday, Jan. 29, 2007 – Lincoln High School, 2229 J St.
- Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007 – Lincoln East High School, 1000 South 70th St.
- Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007 – Lincoln North Star High School, 5801 North 33rd St.
- Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007 – Scott Middle School, 2200 Pine Lake Rd.
At the end of the evening the public will be invited to rank the 2015 pillar projects according to their preference.
